More About Islamorada Fly Fishing

We often say it’s not how well you fly fish but how well you enjoy fly fishing. The fly fishing guides of Islamorada are the professionals of flats fishing. Using boats specifically made for this type of fishing the guides are amazing sight fishermen. From beginner to expert there are no limits to these charters. Lessons are available for those wanting to learn and skills will be matched to the hard core enthusiast.

Fly fishing gear used on this charter are 8 wt to 12 wt with weight forward tapers on floating and intermediate fly lines. It is encouraged for anglers to bring their own tackle, however we recommend talking with your fishing guide to learn about how to set up your rods for best results. A decent cast will be required for the more elusive species of fish. A “double haul” will help in many ways to cast in the winds.
